Volunteer drivers take registered users to Co-op, Social Outings, Lunch Club & Day Care, and our buses can be hired by other organisations.

Lunch Club

Our lunch club brings older people together every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at St. Andrews Centre, Pershore.

Our Wheelchair Accessible vehicle

Thanks to recent grants we have been able to purchase a wheelchair accessible vehicle meaning that disabled people within our community can benefit from the chance to use this vehicle, offering new freedom and independence to individuals and their families

Thank You to our Fundraisers

Three volunteers have gone the extra mile, clocking more than 165 miles between them. Sam Nutting completed a 5km walk around Evesham and raised £200; Emily Foster-Phillips and Roland Honeybunn cycled 80 miles to raise £500 for the Volunteer Centre’s work.

Pershore Volunteer Centre was established as an independent local charity to support the local community. We were established as an unincorporated body in 1984, became a registered charity in 1985, and in 2016 new legislation enabled us to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, with the aim of putting volunteering and well-being at the heart of the local community.

Pershore Plus Volunteer Centre are looking to hire a Lunch Club Coordinator. If you enjoy social engagement and food, then this role maybe for you.

Our ever-popular lunch club runs on the first and third Wednesday of each month at St Andrews Hall Pershore, we offer entertainment, hot drinks and two course meal.

The contract is for an initial 12-month term with possible extension.

The role involves ‘Supporting and encouraging residents to be independent and active in their local community”
