Ways to fundraise

Looking to support us through fundraising activities? We've put a few suggestions below!

Sponsored Walk, Run, or Cycle
Get moving and raise funds at the same time! Whether you take on a 5k walk, a marathon run, or a long-distance bike ride, a sponsored challenge is a great way to get active while supporting Pershore Plus Volunteer Centre. Create a fundraising page to collect pledges from family, friends, and colleagues, and make sure to share your progress on social media to inspire others to get involved.

Host a Charity Bake Sale
If you enjoy baking (or eating!), a bake sale is a fun and easy way to fundraise. Host your sale at a local event, community center, or even in your own home. Ask for donations of cakes, cookies, and pastries, and invite your friends and family to contribute their favorite homemade treats. You’ll be raising money while sharing the joy of homemade goodies with others!

Organize a Quiz Night
Quiz nights are a fun and interactive way to raise funds for a good cause. Organize a trivia night at a local pub, community hall, or virtually! Charge an entry fee per team and offer a prize for the winning team. You can even include fun categories based on your favorite themes—like pop culture, history, or local knowledge. It’s a great way to bring people together and have some friendly competition.

Run a Raffle
Raffles are a simple and effective way to raise funds, and they’re always a hit at events. Ask local businesses to donate prizes, and sell tickets at your workplace, school, or community event. You can also promote your raffle online to reach a wider audience. Be sure to keep the prizes appealing and varied, so there’s something for everyone to look forward to!
