At Pershore Volunteer Centre we work to provide varied and valued services for local residents, community groups and voluntary organisations. Community transport is an important aspect of the services we provide here in Pershore, particularly as public transport reduces and leaves more people isolated.
Worcestershire County Council have updated their Passenger Transport Strategy which they use to decide how and where transport services are delivered and are now consulting on it. There is an online questionnaire for an opportunity to have your say and help shape the future of services in Worcestershire – it’s on the County Council’s website http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/passengertransportstrategy
The closing date for the consultation is 13th September, but don’t put it off – have your say today!
