Testimonials
My volunteer experience enabled me to practice my Microsoft Office skills and increased my confidence, which helped me to learn new skills and return to work. I appreciated being consulted on how to assist with change and enjoyed working within a very upbeat fantastic office team.

Lunch ClubI’ve been driving for the Volunteer Centre for 16 years and absolutely love it. As a driver you meet some really good characters and nice people. I’m helping them and they are helping me as I have to be doing something with my time otherwise I get restless and stressed out at home.
BobIt was a pleasure to meet the volunteer recruitment team to talk through suitable opportunities. Together, we narrowed it down to roles offered by five organisations and I was given the chance to visit each before making a decision. This is a super service.
ValThank you so much for your assistance, I do not know how I would manage without your support.
Community Car Scheme clientOnce again, we are very appreciative of the work you and your volunteers do.
Peter, Worcestershire ME Support GroupAs a community organisation, we value the amazing range of skills offered by volunteers recruited through the Volunteer Centre’s bespoke service. Together they promote our ethos, support the wellbeing of our clients and muck-in at events!
Wick Care FarmTo everyone who worked and helped at last Sunday’s Christmas afternoon tea. Thank you very much. I really enjoyed myself. I spoke to people I had not seen for at least 30-40 years.
RosenaI really enjoy helping others and, as I get to know clients and gain a greater perspective of their life and challenges, I also gain a greater appreciation of my own life.
